A SERP snippet is the little block Google shows for your page in search results: the site name and URL, the blue clickable title, and the gray description underneath. This tool renders that block live as you type, so you can craft copy that reads well and, just as importantly, fits before Google cuts it off with an ellipsis.
Enter your title tag, page URL and meta description on the left. As you type, the character and pixel-width counters update instantly. Google truncates by pixel width, not character count, so the pixel figure matters most: aim to keep titles under roughly 600px (about 60 characters) and descriptions under roughly 960px (about 150–160 characters). When you cross a limit the counter turns red and the preview truncates exactly the way a real result would. Toggle between the desktop and mobile cards — mobile is narrower and wraps the title over two lines, so a snippet that fits on desktop can still get cut on a phone.
Lead with your primary keyword, write for a human first, and give every page a unique title and description — duplicated meta text is a common, easily-fixed problem we see during Atlanta SEO audits. Put the most persuasive words early so they survive truncation, include a clear call to action in the description, and avoid keyword stuffing, which Google may rewrite. Everything here runs entirely in your browser, so you can iterate on wording as many times as you like before you ship it.
Our team reviews your site's technical health, keywords and local visibility across the Atlanta metro — no cost, no obligation.
